We’re holding the ever-popular American Mixed Tournament again this year, 2-4pm on Sunday 22 May at the Leeds Beckett outdoor tennis courts. The entry fee is £5, payable on the day in cash and by card or phone in advance. All are welcome.
American Mixed is a very simple tournament format – you are initially paired up with a partner and play four games, keeping track of how many games you win. Then the winners stay on that court and split up, and are joined by two more players and you play another four games – and so on.
Its a great way of playing with lots of different people and because it’s such a mix of partnerships it’s enjoyable whatever standard you are. We hope to see many of you for a great afternoon.
